Square Enix Working On A Completely New Type Of Dragon Quest Game

Today more details have surfaced from the fourth Dragon Quest XI S livestream that happened a couple of hours ago.

During a Q&A, Square Enix’s Chikara Saitō revealed the company is making a prototype for a new Dragon Quest game. The game is an “all new” type of game that isn’t a sports game. The game’s setting takes place somewhere “slightly before” the modern 21st century.

Besides these details, Saito mentioned that it isn’t 100% confirmed that the prototype will proceed to become an actual game for sale, so we will have to wait and see how it works out.
