Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords “Restored Content” DLC Launches Q3 2022
Following the game’s launch on Switch, Aspyr has shared more details about the upcoming “Restored Content” DLC for Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
For those who may not be aware, the Restored Content DLC is poised to add a number of features that were cut from the original release of the game. This includes new dialogue and interactions, a bonus mission with fan-favorite droid HK-47, as well as an updated ending.
In a series of responses to fans on Twitter, Aspyr confirmed that the DLC will be launching in Q3 2022, with the only caveat being that players will have to start a brand new save file if they want to experience the content:
Hi, base game save files will not be compatible with The Sith Lords Restored Content DLC, but you can access any previous save files by disabling the DLC content in the in-game main menu
It will be released in Q3 2022
While somewhat disappointing that it will require a restart, it is good that fans will be able to experience the restored content in an official capacity once the patch launches. Stay tuned for more as it comes.
