This article is going to be a little spoiler heavy so readers should not before reading on.

Back before the V1.2.0 update for Super Mario Odyssey, those who have completed the game 100%, meaning you have collected all the moons and whatnots, you were presented with a postcard. A lovely way to end a game that was all about travelling.

The postcard looked something like this:

But after the V1.2.0 update, which is also commonly known as the Luigi’s Balloon World update, there was also an update to the 100% postcard. A very subtle change, but one that hold’s much significance nonetheless.

See the difference? Yes it is Mario’s brother,, Luigi, floating into the party. A little late but at least he made it.
