Earlier this week, Nintendo officially revealed the Nintendo Switch 2, with a short teaser video showing off the look of the console.

Despite being relatively barebones and the design being leaked months before, the Switch 2 reveal video has been a massive success by Youtube’s metrics. The video reached number 1 in trending within 12 hours of being released, with the English version receiving 12 million views and nearly 882k likes at the time of this writing.

X/Twitter user Pierre485 also compiled some stats taken about 7 hours after the video’s release, showing just how well it did worldwide during that period:

• 23 million views in Japan
• 16 million views in North America
• 8 million views in EU + others
