Switch Lifetime Sales Cross 107.65 Million, Pokemon Legends Arceus Sales Crosses 12.64 Million
Nintendo has published their latest earnings release for the fiscal year ending on March 31st 2022, which includes some updates sales figures for the Switch and its first party titles.
In terms of hardware, the Nintendo Switch sold about 4.11 million Switch systems over the past three months, bringing the total lifetime Switch sales up to 107.65 million. On the software side, 55.77 million units were sold over the same period, bringing the total number of Switch games sold worldwide up to 822.18 million as of March 31st 2022.
In addition, Nintendo also published updated official sales figures for Pokemon Legends Arceus and Kirby and The Forgotten Land, as follows:
- Pokemon Legends: Arceus – 12.64 million
- Kirby and the Forgotten Land – 2.65 million
Finally, Nintendo also updated its total software sales figures for the Top 10 best selling first-party Switch games of all time, although there have not been many significant shifts in the rankings since last time:
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 45.33 million
- Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 38.64 million
- Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 28.17 million
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 26.55 million
- Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 24.27 million
- Super Mario Odyssey – 23.50 million
- Super Mario Party – 17.78 million
- Pokemon Brilliant Diamond / Pokemon Shining Pearl – 14.65 million
- Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! – 14.53 million
- Ring Fit Adventure – 14.09 million
