Switch Worldwide Sales Cross 143.42 Million Units, Thousand-Year Door Remake Crosses 1.76 Million

Nintendo has published their latest earnings report for the fiscal year ending March 31st 2024, revealing some updated sales numbers for their hardware and software.

According to their report, the Switch has sold around 143.42 million units worldwide as of that date including the base model, Switch Lite, and OLED models. On the software side, sales have reached 1.266 billion units.

  1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 62.90 million
  2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 45.85 million
  3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 34.66 million
  4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 32.05 million
  5. Super Mario Odyssey – 28.21 million
  6. Pokemon Sword / Pokemon Shield – 26.35 million
  7. Pokemon Scarlet / Pokemon Violet – 25.29 million
  8. Super Mario Party – 20.84million
  9. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 20.80million
  10. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 17.61million

Aside from the Top 10, Nintendo also released the first official sales figures for the Paper Mario: Thousand-Year Door Remake and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Both games managed to sell over 1 million units worldwide, sitting at 1.76 million and 1.19 million units respectively.
