Today is a very sad day for fans of Etika and Nintendo gamers – the New York Police Department has officially confirmed Etika has passed away.

Last week, Etika posted a disturbing video apologizing to fans for what he had “done wrong” and warned them about the dangers of social media. Unfortunately, he had taken his life before the police and family were able to find him. Etika had been suffering from breakdowns since 2018.

Etika will always be remembered as the Youtuber who popularized the “Joy-Con Bois” meme and his 3D printed Nintendo Switch in 2016.
