Nintendo has announced the next Maximus Cup competition for Tetris 99, which features Kirby Fighters 2.
The 19th Maximus Cup for Tetris 99 will give players a chance to earn a special theme based on Kirby Fighters 2 by accumulating 100 event points. It will begin later this week on January 7, and run till January 11.
For now, Nintendo has not put out an official trailer showing off the theme, but here’s the official blurb below:
He’s pink. He’s powerful. He’s Kirby!
By participating in the Tetrid 99 19th MAXIMUS CUP online event, players can earn an in-game theme inspired by the Kirby Fighters 2 game. During the event, collect 100 event points by playing matches in the Tetris 99 online mode to unlock the in-game theme!
The event will be:
1/7 (Thurs.) 11 p.m. PT to 1/11 (Mon.) 10:59 p.m. PT
