The Elder Scrolls Online Port Can Never Happen On Switch
Twinfinite has published an interview with Bethesda’s Matt Firor, the Game Director for The Elder Scrolls Online.
When asked whether a Nintendo Switch will ever happen, Firor said it was impossible for them to port the game to Switch unless they stream it from the cloud, similar to Resident Evil 7 Cloud Version.
“Not going to happen. The only way it’d work is if there was some kind of streaming service on Switch. It’s just not powerful enough.”
It’s also important to point out that the game takes up 170GB on PC, so just the file size itself poses a huge problem.
