Tears of the Kingdom is fluctuating between a 97/98 Review Average.

The consensus? Better than Breath of the Wild in every conceivable way (and maybe every other Zelda game).

Nintendo knew what they had, so they kept the game mostly secret opting not to spoil pre-launch.
