The Pokemon Company Releases “A Ripple In Time” Animated Short For Daniel Arsham Collab
Back in 2020, The Pokemon Company stared a collaboration with artist Daniel Arsham to create a Pokemon art project with the theme of “fictional archeology”.
The Pokemon Company has now announced a series of art exhibitions that will be a part of this collaboration, to be held across Tokyo in 2022. Continuing with the “fictional archeology” theme, the exhibits will include statues of Pokemon in quartz crystal and bronze, bronze castings of Pokemon trading cards, as well as “sketches and research” about the crystal Pokemon.
To promote the exhibition, The Pokemon Company has also shared a short animation featuring Ash & Pikachu along with the time travelling Pokemon Celebi. The animation has Ash & Pikachu be accidentally transported into the far future by Celebi during a Pokemon battle with a trainer resembling Daniel Arsham.
