Episode 2: The Cause of the Quarrel
One morning, the King Dragon’s servant Sacasa rushes in to see him. Apparently, the Honey Bears and the Honey Bees, who were previously on good terms, had a falling out and could get into a major quarrel at any moment. At Sacasa’s request, Yuu accompanies him to the “Honey Crystal Forest” to investigate the cause of the quarrel.
Episode 3: The Lost Princess
Yuu hears from one of the King Dragon’s servants that a human has gotten lost on the very cold “Ice-Moon Hill.” Worried about their safety, the King Dragon considers who he could send to help them, but Yuu exclaims, “I’ll go!” and runs off on her own.
■ Systems
Adventure with Reliable Companions
Yuu will encounter various monsters and humans on her adventures. Fight alongside these unique and reliable companions, each with their own feelings and ways of thinking, and borrow a hand in times of need.
—Conco
While you may not think it from his cute appearance, Conco’s can sink his teeth into monsters with his big mouth!
—Sacasa
Is Sacasa provoking monsters with his juggling skills?
—Flora
Flora can drive monsters away with her signature umbrella.
Borrow a Hand in Times of Need
During your adventures, you will come across rising soil, out of reach floating treasure chests, and areas you cannot pass over without a foothold. When you come across these places, you may be able to get the treasure chest or reach the new area with the help of your companions.
—Conco’s Ability
There is rising soil on the ground. Could there be something here?
Conco can dig a hole to uncover an item buried in the ground!
—Sacasa’s Ability
A floating treasure chest! But it is too high to reach.
Using his knife handling skills, Sacasa can drop down the chest!
—Flora’s Ability
There is a road on the other side of the cliff, but no way to cross over. But there seems to be a strong wind blowing from the cliff.
With Flora’s umbrella, you can ride the wind over to the other side.
Powerful Special Attacks
Through continued “training,” Yuu and company will gradually become stronger and learn “special skills.” Use these skills to quickly repel monsters.
—Fire Slash
Yuu’s special skill. Slashes at the enemy with a sword basked in flames, delivering a powerful blow.
—Charge
Conco’s special skill. Vigorously charges in and attacks the enemies in a single horizontal row. It seems to also hurt Conco a bit…
—Tailwind
Sacasa’s special skill. Raises the wind and attacks all enemies. Also increases party members’ speed, allowing them to act earlier.
—Hide
Flora’s special skill. Stealthily hides and makes it harder to be targeted by enemies. Avoid attacks with ease!
Using special skills consumes energy. And if you lack the energy, you will not be able to use special skills, so make sure to utilize them at the right times. Even so, you will recover energy each turn, so use them proactively!
Helping Others is Step One in Becoming a Noble Hero
There are many people in this world awaiting Yuu’s help. If you find someone in need, be sure to talk to them.
—The red speech bubbles on the map indicate where there is someone in need. Follow the red speech bubble to get closer.
—When you approach the red speech bubble, you will see someone with an arrow over their head, indicating that they need help. Talk to them.
—By hearing their story and helping them out, you may be able to get something that will aid you on your adventure in return.
The Wicked King and the Noble Hero will be hitting Nintendo Switch in Japan on 24 June 2021. Currently, there are no plans for a western localization.
