The Wonderful 101: Remastered Receives Two New Kickstarter Stretch Goals

Platinum Games has revealed another set of Kickstarter Stretch Goals for The Wonderful 101: Remastered.

The reveal comes as the game’s Kickstarter campaign crosses $1.5 million, meaning that the previous two Kickstarter Stretch Goals have successfully been met. These original stretch goals were a new “Time Attack” mode, as well as a 2D side-scroller mode called “Luka’s First Mission”:

Luka is a boy who plays a very important role in The Wonderful 101: Remastered. Will Wedgewood, AKA Wonder-Red, is a teacher at Blossom City Elementary School when he isn’t fighting evil. Luka is one of the students in his class, and also one of the school’s biggest mischief makers.

Of course, Luka doesn’t know that his teacher is actually Wonder-Red. And he hates the Wonderful 100 due to a certain reason, despite the fact that they’re heroes who protect the Earth. Why does he hate them? You’ll have to play the game and enjoy the story to find out! Luka’s First Mission, which we’ll get to work on thanks to your support, is a side-scrolling action spin-off game where you will get to play as Luka.

Now that these goals have been met, the next two stretch goals are a remixed version of the game’s soundtrack, as well as “Luka’s Second Mission”, another extra mode featuring Luka. These goals will be funded at the $1.75 million mark and the $2 million mark respectively.

If you wish to contribute to the campaign, you can find it here.
