Last year, Undertale follow-up Deltarune launched on Switch with both Chapters 1 & 2. If you’ve been hoping to experience more of the RPG adventure this year, it looks like you’ll have to continue being patient.

The game’s creator Toby Fox has confirmed that no new chapters of Deltarune will be launching this year. However, he also shared that something “special” would be coming “next week” for fans of both Undertale and Deltarune.

We won't be able to put out any new chapters of DELTARUNE this year… But as usual, we have a little something specil planned for the anniversary of UT/DR Ch2… See you next week!

Previously, Toby Fox had shared that the plan is to release Deltarune Chapters 3 – 5 all at once, so this announcement is somewhat unsurprising. We’ll report back if we hear more about Deltarune in the future.
