Moving in to 2021, we have some interesting sales information about just how well the Switch performed in the UK for 2020.

According to head of Gamesindustry.biz Christopher Dring, the Switch sold about as much as the Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X combined. This is quite an impressive feat, even given the fact that the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X were only released close to the tail end of the year.

In the UK last year, if you add every PS5 sold to every PS4 sold to every Xbox Series sold to every Xbox One sold… you get pretty much how much Nintendo Switch sold
