The Pokemon Company has started a new Wild Area Event for Pokemon Sword And Shield.

In this event, various Version Exclusive regular Pokemon and Gigantamax Pokemon will have a higher chance to appear in Max Raid Battles.

What is unique about this event is that Sword Version Exclusive Raids will spawn in Pokemon Shield, and vice versa. For example, Galarian Farfetch’d, which is normally exclusive to Sword, can be encountered in a Raid battle within Shield during this event. Version exclusive fossils will also be featured as rewards for completing these raids.

This event will run from today 19th March to 26th March.
