Been holding out for a North American retail release of Waku Waku Sweets? Well, your patience will finally pay off at the end of this year!

Aksys Games will be publishing a physical edition of the baking simulation game for North America in Winter 2019 – at $39.99. Waku Waku Sweets originally launched as a digital-only title worldwide in November 2018, and only saw an English-cover release in Asia previously.

Torrance, Calif. – August 20, 2019 – Aksys Games has announced its delicious new cooking simulator, Waku Waku Sweets for the Nintendo Switch™, is currently baking at 350°F and will be delivered to store shelves this winter 2019.

In Waku Waku Sweets, players can roll, mix, and bake their way to becoming a master pastry chef with over 100 different recipes featuring tasty treats from around the world. Using the Joy-Con™ controllers, players can sharpen their skills using realistic motions that have been designed to mimic real-life recipes, like sifting, pouring, baking, and frosting.

In addition to featuring a variety of confectioneries, Waku Waku Sweets also features a multitude of different hairstyles and clothing options to make the player’s pastry chef entirely their own. Customization doesn’t stop there as players can design their own unique patisserie with furniture and more.

Multiple gameplay options are available in the game. Players can move up the ranks at work by cooking for their co-workers, complete solo quests, challenge your neighbors, or share your sweets with the village. The choice is yours!
