Walmart Throws Out Switch 2 Game-Key Cards And Code-In-Box Games For 2 Bucks A Pop
It appears that certain Walmart locations in the United States have started selling select Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card and code-in-box releases at bargain bin prices.
A Redditor spotted two Nintendo Switch 2 games, Split Fiction and Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, going for USD2 a piece at their local Walmart. Split Fiction is a code-in-box release, while Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut is a Game-Key Card. Both games were released on June 5, the same day as Nintendo Switch 2.
The bargain bin prices mean that both games were sold at 4% of their suggested retail price just two months after launch. While Split Fiction was still available at the time the Redditor took the photo, Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut had already been cleared out:
