Following up on our report about Yo-Kai Watch 4’s release on Nintendo Switch, Ryokutya2089 has released a few tidbits about the game.

Firstly, Yo-Kai Watch 4 will be released this year (2018) in Japan. A precise release date or launch window wasn’t mentioned, and localization in the west wasn’t confirmed.

Secondly, Yo-Kai Watch 4 will feature the following characters from the Yo-Kai Watch anime: Touma Tsukinami, Natsume Amano, Keesuke Amano, and Akinori Arihoshi.

Akihiro Hino, President and CEO of Level-5, revealed that the game has been “powered up” (the same was said for The Snack World Trejarers: Gold), and include a game mechanic that will surprise everyone.

No other details were mentioned, and no artwork or screenshots are out yet.
