In Pokemon Let’s GO Pikachu and Pokemon Let’s GO Eevee, players won’t be able to evolve the Starter Pokemon they receive at the beginning of the game.

This means from start to finish, you won’t be able to evolve your Pikachu into Raichu, or your Eevee into Flareon, Vaporeon, or Jolteon.

If you catch another Pikachu or Eevee in the game, you can evolve them anytime you like.
