YouTube has confirmed that a free YouTube app is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 “soon”.

The confirmation was made after the system’s launch on June 5, 2025. While there is a free YouTube app for Nintendo Switch, it is not compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. Looks like you don’t have to wait long before it arrives.
