Award winning platformer Cuphead has smashed a new sales record this year.

In the Cuphead Netflix press release, the company revealed Cuphead has sold over 4 million copies worldwide across all platforms, which include Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately there isn’t a breakdown of sales between platforms.

Back in 2018, the game moved over 3 million copies, so that’s an increase of 1 million copies in a year.

“The game has sold over 4 million copies and won the best independent game award at the 2017 Game Awards and a BAFTA Games award for its music. “
