Following earlier rumors of more indie titles, it now seems likely that Risk of Rain 2 will also be announced on the upcoming Indie World Presentation!

According to prominent leaker Sabi (@New_WabiSabi), they’ve gotten hold of information that the action platformer is set to be revealed during Nintendo’s Indie World Direct on August 19. Sabi revealed this information via a cryptic Twitter post.

It’s not much of a surprise since the first game, Risk of Rain, has already been out for a year now on the hybrid platform. It’s probable that the sequel is likely to appear on the platform soon. In addition, we’ve already gotten reports that Risk of Rain 2 has been rated in Germany back in June, including a PC version datamine which revealed several assets referring to the Nintendo Switch.
