Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Sees Boost In Revenue And Downloads After New Horizons Launch

It looks like Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is opening its arms to new deserted islanders as we speak!

According to Sensor Tower, the mobile game saw a surge in both player spending and downloads after the launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons on March 20 – with downloads increasing by as much as 150%! This helped the game cross one million monthly downloads again, as highlighted below:

  • Player spending on March 21st came in at $253,000, the game’s best day since March 2nd, 2020
  • The game has generated approximately $3.6 million for the month
  • Downloads have risen by close to 150%, from 520,000 downloads in February 2020 to 1.3 million as of March 21st 2020
  • The week of March 16th saw 670,000 installs

Of course, part of this boost is likely due to the ongoing My Nintendo promotion that allows Pocket Camp users to obtain special items in New Horizons. If you haven’t hopped onto it, you can check out more details over here.
