Potential Hints For Cooking And Sewing Features Datamined For Animal Crossing New Horizons
Earlier today, Nintendo released the second Summer update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, bringing it up to Version 1.4.0.
Since its release, dataminer Ninji has posted some interesting findings pulled from the game’s code. As shared on Twitter, the update includes more references to cooking ingredients, as well as a potential “sewing” feature and a new type of shrub. It was also confirmed that the update adds some new dialogue options for the villagers.
So, things that are new in 1.4 itself…
• Custom design search features
• Save data backups
• New Nook Shopping items for festivals
• New villager dialogue for fireworks and such
• New villager dialogue for commenting on certain kinds of placed furniture/items— Ninji (has moved) (@_Ninji) July 30, 2020
That said, this datamined info should not be taken as confirmation that these features are indeed coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons. We will be sure to share more once official confirmation is released by Nintendo.
