Splatoon 3 Ink Vac And Stringer Bow Showcased
The official Twitter account for Splatoon 3 have shared some details about two new weapons that will be making their debut in the game.
The first of these weapons is the Stringer, which has been seen in many of the game’s promotional materials. This bow-like weapon can be fired horizontally or vertically depending on the user’s position, with one variant called the Tri-Stringer being able to fire in three directions at the same time.
Behold! We've captured footage of a stringer type weapon. This is the Tri-Stringer, which can fire in three directions simultaneously and unleash charged shots that briefly freeze before exploding. Our lab is hoping to obtain one of these for further p̶l̶a̶y̶ research. pic.twitter.com/pDObe3Gw5O

The next weapon showcased is the Ink Vac, which looks similar to a leaf-blower. Rather than shooting leaves, the Ink Vac is used to suck up ink from enemy attacks to be returned in a counterattack. The more ink inhaled, the more powerful the resulting counter.
Witness this rare footage of the Ink Vac in action. The more attacks it inhales, the more powerful the Ink Vac becomes. This is the sort of weapon that could provide security for an entire squad! Rest assured that our excitement is tempered by academic rigor. pic.twitter.com/OMdxknJkiS
