Some new leaked info has surfaced about the next generation of mainline Pokemon games, which many expect to release after Pokemon Legends Z-A.

This latest batch of info is attributed to a leaker who goes by Moot, who has reportedly shared reliable info in the past related to the Pokemon anime. These details revolve around the overall lore of the region, as well as a potential new gameplay mechanic in the vein of Mega Evolutions and Terastalization.

Region

• Based on Greek islands
• Progress by exploring different islands
• Each island has unique Pokemon adapted to the environment, shaped by Legendary Pokemon

“Majin”

• Powerful entities that manage the environment of each island, unknown if they are Pokemon or some other nondescript being.
• Their “leader” is codenamed “Diabolos”
• 12 to 13 members

“Vessels”

• Pokemon that are possessed or blessed by “Majin”.
• Gain slightly altered appearances, aura effects, and unique abilities.

“Apotheosis”

• A new gameplay mechanic.
• Pokemon hold “Divine Sigils” associated with different “Majin”, to achieve “Apotheosis”
• Similar to Terastalization, all Pokemon will be able to use Divine Sigils to gain bonuses such as type boosts, status immunities, or ability changes.
• However, some Pokemon will be able to access unique “Apostle” forms, similar to Mega Evolution

New Pokemon

• At least 120 new Pokemon, including standard and regional variants, with many designs finalized.
• Includes a Monkey Pokemon meant to demonstrate the Apotheosis mechanic
• Does not include “Apostle” forms
