Square Enix has confirmed they are hosting a Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Broadcast later this week.

As teased by creator Yuji Horii, the broadcast will be held on May 27 at 6:00 a.m. PT / 9:00 a.m. ET / 22:00 JST. It will run for about 10 minutes. While specific contents were not detailed, Horii previously mentioned that it would include announcements related to the next game, amongst other news.

Ahead of the broadcast, Square Enix will also open a special site for the anniversary, as well as host a Dragon Quest 40th anniversary celebration live stream feat. Eiko Kano’s Critikano Hit.
