Nintendo  has announced some special events to commemorate the Switch and Switch 2’s official launch in Indonesia.

Firstly, they will hold a Nintendo Experience Event on December 10th 2026 at Central Park, Jakarta. This is the same date that the Switch and Switch 2 consoles officially release in the country. Visitors will be able to try out all of the latest games for the consoles, including The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake for Switch 2.

In addition, a Nintendo Pop-UP Store for Jarkarta is also planned, and will allow players to buy games, consoles, and presumably merch that is normally exclusive to the Nintendo Stores in Japan. Further details about this POP-UP store will be shared at a later date.
