After five years, The Pokemon Company has announced they are shutting down Pokemon Unite.

The game will end its service from March 23rd 2027, and will no longer be fully playable after that date. Players who retain their accounts will still be able to login and access some features such as the library features and practice arena.

As of today, players will no longer be able to purchase any in-game currency. There will also be a final special event starting from November 12th 2026 that will allow players to unlock every single playable Pokemon before the end of service date.

The full details about the shutdown can be found here.
