The Legend of Zelda is a franchise with a rich history, most of which Nintendo paid homage to in their latest instalment, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, there is one little easter egg that has evaded our eyes but spotted by an eagle-eyed Redditor.

After playing the Breath of the Wild DLC Pack 1’s Trial of the Sword, Redditor Kamuilyn, noticed a striking resemblance between the 7 monks in the Trial and the 7 Sages in Ocarina of Time. In particular, the poses they were making.

I’ll be horrified to think that the mummified monks are actually the 7 Sages from Ocarina of Time, but if that’s not the case, this is an interesting way to pay tribute to the Zelda game that started all 3D Zeldas.
