A Free Version Of Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics Will Be Released For Local Multiplayer

Good news for those of you getting Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics – Nintendo is introducing a concept similar to Download Play.

The Nintendo UK Store has mentioned that Nintendo will release a free version of Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics on the Nintendo eShop, allowing players who don’t own the game to enjoy local multiplayer with one person who owns the full version of the game.

This is a similar concept to Download Play, where one person who owns a copy of the game on a Nintendo 3DS or DS could play with other players who don’t own it.

Full details below:

“Local multiplayer*: Free software will be available that allows players to connect in local multiplayer with someone who owns the full version of the game. As long as your friends have a Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite and one person owns the game, everyone else can play too!

  • Free supplementary software will be available that allows players to connect in local multiplayer with someone who owns the full version of the game. Additional accessories, games and/or systems may be required for multiplayer mode, sold separately.”
