Last year, publisher Merge Games and developer Jankenteam revealed Alex Kidd In Miracle World DX – a modern remaster of the original 1986 platformer. If you’ve been waiting eagerly for more details about its release, we finally have some good news!
Both companies have announced that the game will finally hit the Switch eShop on 24 June 2021, for $19.99 USD. Additionally, a new trailer of the game has emerged with a better look at its platforming gameplay – which you can check out below:
Along with this new look at the game, Signature Edition has opened pre-orders for physical editions for the title. A standalone physical edition which includes a manual and keyring will cost £29.99. Meanwhile, a heftier Signature Edition bundle (pictured on top) will cost £54.99 and include extras such as a numbered certificate with developer signatures, three exclusive enamel pins, a Jankenpon (rock/paper/scissors) card game, art book, medallion, felt money bag, and CD soundtrack.
