Bad news to those who pre-ordered Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Amazon – the retailer has delayed shipments of the game, meaning you won’t be able to get your copy on time on March 20, 2020.
Due to the current coronavirus situation which has locked down many places under quarantine, Amazon has experienced a surge in orders and is prioritizing shipping daily necessities such as food and hygiene products to customers first.
As a result of the surge, non-essential products, such as video games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons, have been given a lower priority. Hence many Amazon customers have reported that their copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is arriving next Tuesday, a 4 day delay.
It seems that many people are very unhappy about this delay and are starting to express their discontent on social media networks such as Twitter.
