Some distressing news has surfaced regarding Amazon pre-orders for a number of highly anticipated Switch titles coming in 2024.
According to reports on ResetEra and other social media, Amazon has been mass cancelling physical pre-orders for Paper Mario, Endless Ocean, and Luigi’s Mansion 2 without warning or any clear explanation. Although its possible that Amazon simply did not order enough stock to meet demand, some are speculating that it could be due to internal conflict between the retauk giant and Nintendo, as other outlets are still accepting pre-orders. This issue is also reportedly only affecting Amazon’s US storefront, adding to the confusion.
