It looks like the legacy of a spinach-eating sailor will soon be landing on Nintendo Switch.
A new Switch eShop listing has revealed Popeye – a “modernized adaptation of the classic arcade game” that will be published by Sabec Limited. The game will cost $12.99 USD, and it will task players with collecting as many hearts and letters from Olive as possible while avoiding enemies and obstacles.
If the name “Sabec Limited” sounds familiar, that’s because the company is somewhat infamous for publishing simple apps on the Switch eShop such as Calculator, Xylophone, and Spy Alarm. Whether this new Popeye game will be of similar quality to those apps remains to be seen.
