Today we have some interesting information to share with you all regarding the Diddy Kong Racing series!
A tech demo for Diddy Kong Racing DS built in 2004 has been found along with other old DS tech demos from Climax in a file titled “Diddy”.

The tech demo only lets you drive around in a hub level so there isn’t much to take from this on how it influenced the actual release of Diddy Kong Racing DS in 2007.
There are 2 versions of this tech demo labeled “Version 1” and “Version 2”. Version 2 only fixes collision glitches in the game so there is not that much to take from this but it is still very interesting.
