Animal Crossing: New Horizons Allows You To Live In The Southern Hemisphere

Today we have a few interesting piece of news for Animal Crossing: New Horizons that was revealed during the Nintendo Treehouse Live at E3 2019.

First, Nintendo revealed that furniture could now be moved by half units in homes, similar to how it was done in Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer. Besides that, for the first time players could place furniture outside their home.

Besides furniture, Nintendo announced that players could now set their island to the Southern Hemisphere. Previous mainline Animal Crossing games were all set in the Northern Hemisphere. For example, it’d be summer in the Northern Hemisphere, but winter in the Southern Hemisphere.
