Earlier today, Nintendo published FY3/2021 Q1 earnings release, which contains updated sales figures for many of their best-selling titles.
Among the games singled out as doing especially well was Animal Crossing: New Horizons, which turned out to be one of Nintendo’s smash hits for the year. According to the earnings report, game has reached 22.40 million in total sales worldwide, almost double the lifetime sales of its predecessor Animal Crossing: New Leaf.
