DataBlitz, the largest video game retailer in the Philippines, has announced that the official launch of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been delayed due to current coronavirus measures.
This means that those who pre-ordered the game will not be able to receive them on March 20, 2020, the game’s official release date. It is currently unclear when they would be able to sell the games, as they will have to wait for local authorities to lift the Enhanced Community Quarantine measures that are currently in place and affecting everyone’s business operations.
To make up for the delay, DataBlitz has announced they will give every customer who pre-ordered the game a P500 DataBlitz Gift Voucher. The delay affects all DataBlitz locations.
