Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sells 727k Copies In Its Second Week In Japan
Famitsu has published their weekly sales stats for the period between March 23 and March 29, 2020 in Japan.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons was the No. 1 bestselling game in Japan, moving 727,791 copies in a single week. This is the second consecutive week the game has stayed at the top spot on the charts. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has so far clocked in 2.6 million copies in lifetime sales.
Nintendo Switch Lite sales have also surged on the second week of Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ debut – the system moved 236,710 units in Japan. The Nintendo Switch, which is still struggling due to supply chain issues, moved 51,890 units.
