Last month, we reported that in Version 1.2.1 of Super Smash Bros Ultimate there were mentions of 2 new characters with the codes “Jack” and “Brave” discovered by dataminers!
Well now it seems Nintendo has been on this case and now has removed any mentions of the 2 codenames entirely from the games code.
Check out this tweet about it below:
The codename “Jack” was originally thought by fans to be Joker from Persona 5 who has been confirmed to be the next DLC character for Super Smash Bros Ultimate so it is odd they removed this but it seems Nintendo has been listening the the datamining scene lately.
“Brave” was also theorized to be the rumored Isaac from Dragon Quest fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate so they may be trying to hide this as well.
