Aonuma: Breath Of The Wild Sequel Will Be “A Little Darker” Than Majora’s Mask
Yesterday, Nintendo gave fans a first-look at the newly-confirmed sequel for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Since then, fans have been wildly speculating about what the game will be about – and it looks like Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma is now adding more fuel to the hype engines!
During an interview with IGN, Aonuma offered more clarification about the tone of the story. Some fans have been claiming that the new trailer felt as uneasy as Majora’s Mask – but Aonuma commented that things could descend even more than that!
“The new Breath of the Wild or the sequel to it, it’s not necessarily going to be related to Majora’s mask or inspired by it… What we showed you currently is a little darker.”
