As earlier reported, Ash and Pikachu will soon step down as the main stars of the long-running Pokemon anime series – with their final episode set to air on 24 March 2023 in Japan. In the meantime, fans in Japan can now take a short but nostalgic trip through the many adventures of the trainer and his electrifying companion!
The Pokemon Company has set up a promotional video at Shinjuku station that looks back on Ash’s and Pikachu’s journey – which prominently features various scenes of the duo and their many friends from the anime. Folks visiting the station will be able to find the video playing at Shinjuku Station’s “Shinjuku Wall 456” from now until 19 March 2023.
