If you’ve been wondering what is going on with Shin Megami Tensei V, you have an answer today.
As part of a huge New Year group interview by 4Gamer, Shin Megami Tensei V producer Kazuyuki Yamai was asked how development is going for the upcoming Switch exclusive. Yamai says as this is the first Shin Megami Tensei game to land on a home console in many years, the development team is not making any compromises and aims to “develop it properly”.
Atlus is currently creating artwork, filling up details, and “scrap and building” things. What that means is they are iterating gameplay on the Switch over and over again with trial and error to perfection.
Yamai hopes to have a formal reveal for Shin Megami Tensei V in the near future, and would be happy if fans could wait for a little longer. Shin Megami Tensei V is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch in the future, with localization on the cards.
