Last month, Balan Wonderworld made its anticipated debut on Switch and other platforms, although it was ultimately met with rather lukewarm reception from critics and players.
The poor reception of the game has since been backed up by some new sales figures coming out of Japan. According to some reports, Balan Wonderworld only managed to sell less that 2,100 copies in Japan during its first week, and failed to break the Top 30 on the Switch eshop in Japan, North America, and Europe.
All in all, Balan Wonderworld‘s performance likely comes as a big disappointment to many who were looking forward to the brand new 3D platformer by Sonic creators Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima. But what do you think? Let us know in the comments.
