In the 19th issue of the Switch Player magazine, Bandai Namco Entertainment’s James O’Connor shared some interesting insights on the development of Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch.
As you know, Dragon Ball FighterZ is launching later this September on Nintendo Switch, roughly 8 months after its initial debut on PS4 and Xbox One. According to O’Connor, the reason why the game is releasing later on Switch is because there was hardly any information on the Switch when Dragon Ball FighterZ development started.
After the console was officially revealed to the world, Dragon Ball FighterZ developers fully understood the Switch’s potential and started porting it after development for the other versions were completed.
O’Connor has also revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ runs at 60 frames per second on Switch, and absolutely no content was cut from the game.
