Bayonetta 2 For Switch To Come With Local Co-op, Video Recording, amiibo Support, etc.

The announcement of Bayonetta 3, as well as, the port of Bayonetta 1 and 2 to the Nintendo Switch came as quite a surprise to most of the fans watching the game awards. Now that the dust has settled a little, Platinum games have sprinkled a few details about the new feature that will come with the port of Bayonetta 2.

Most important, Bayonetta 2 will support the Nintendo Switch’s idea of local co-op. Players will be able to play the game through local wireless.  The previously online-only co-op Tag Climax will also be local so, friends can play the game in the presence of each other.

The game will also come with amiibo support, including the 2 Smash series Bayonetta amiibo figures.

On top of that, the Nintendo Switch’s new video recording feature will also work with the game at launch, allowing players to record the last 30 seconds of action to share with their friends.

The game will arrive 16 February 2018.
