Bayonetta’s Original Voice Actor Issues New Statement On The Bayonetta 3 Controversy
Hellena Taylor, the original voice actor for the Bayonetta series’ titular protagonist, has issued a new statement in light of recent developments in the Bayonetta 3 voice actor controversy.
In a series of tweets, Taylor disputed claims that developer Platinum Games offered to pay her around $3,000 and $4,000 per four-hour session for at least five recording sessions and her counter-offer for $250,000, dismissing them as “total fabrications” and “ridiculous fictions”. She also brought up new information that was absent in her initial videos on how Platinum Games initially offered her $10,000 for the role, which was later increased to $15,000 after she wrote to developer Hideki Kamiya “asking for what she was worth”.

It has come to my attention that some people are calling me a liar and golddigger. I feel the need to defend myself and my reputation in the industry. See thread #PlatinumGames #Nintendo #Bayonetta #Bayonetta3 #Bayonutters #Boycott #NintendoEurope #NintendoAmerica #NintendoJapan
