Bethesda Will Not Be Holding A Digital Event In June
Last month, we learned that E3 2020 had been officially cancelled in light of concerns over the ongoing Coronavirus situation.
In the days that followed, many major game companies detailed their plans to hold digital events in lieu of their usual presences at E3. Today, Bethesda has announced that unlike those other companies, they have decided not to hold any sort of digital event at all in June.
In a post on Twitter, Bethesda’s Pete Hines shared that this was because they were facing “many challenges” due to the pandemic, although they still had “exciting things” to share about their games. You can check out the announcement for yourself below:
Given the many challenges we're facing due to the pandemic, we will not host a digital Showcase in June. We have lots of exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.
